Senior Consultant, Identity & Access Management/Edge Security

This role is defined as a technical professional with broad knowledge of Microsoft’s system infrastructure products, specific knowledge of Microsoft’s Identity & Access Management technologies.  This role is described by the following characteristics.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

 

·         A minimum of 5 years experience in an Information Systems related field such as systems administrator, IT manager, consultant, technical account manager, etc.

·         A minimum of 2 years consulting experience (not staff augmentation) and proven ability to gather and assess business requirements, develop and present solution alternatives, produce design and migration strategy documents, provide guidance and knowledge transfer to client staff, and test / implement an approved design.

·         Core skill set should include industry knowledge of PKI, Directory Services, Federation Services, Identity Management, Rights Management, and Edge Security

·         Core skill set should include mid to expert level knowledge in ONE or more of the following technologies

o    Microsoft’s Active Directory Domain Services

o    Microsoft’s Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (ADLDS)

o    Microsoft’s Active Directory Rights Management Services (RMS)

o    Microsoft’s Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM)

o    Microsoft’s Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS)

o    Microsoft’s Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS)

o    Microsoft’s  Threat Management Gateway (TMG)

o    Microsoft’s Unified Access Gateway (UAG)

·         Broad knowledge of other Microsoft systems infrastructure products such as System Center, Exchange 2007, Office Communication Server 2007, Forefront, Windows Server 2008, Hyper-V, and/or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

·         MCSE Certification (Windows Server 2003 / 2008)

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint

·         Basic scripting and development skills

·         Travel:  30 - 35% average of 3 year period is typical (Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama).
