SR. CONSULTANT System Management Solutions

Design and deliver system management technical solutions to support the IT infrastructure including server and client hardware as well as an application and process management solutions.   At the center of this consulting and systems integration practice are Microsoft products such as the System Center suite of products. In addition to the Microsoft System Center products this role can include designing desktop services including the automation of the deployment of OS and applications as well as application and desktop virtualization. This role is described by the following characteristics.

Skills / Experience:

•       A minimum of 3 years consulting experience (not staff augmentation) and proven ability to gather and assess business requirements, develop and present solution alternatives, produce design and migration strategy documents, provide guidance and knowledge transfer to client staff, and test / implement an approved design.
•       Core skill set should include mid to expert level knowledge in one or all of the following technologies:
         o    System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM),System Center Operations Manager (SCOM),System Center Virtual Machine Manager (VMM),System Center Data Protection Manager (DPM),System Center Service Manager (SCSM),System Center Opalis
•       Core skill set should include mid to high level knowledge in one or all of the following technologies:         
         o    Windows 7 deployment and management, Scripting, Application Packaging, Microsoft Application   Virtualizations (App-V), Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (MED-V), Microsoft BitLocker.
•       Core skill set should include industry knowledge about the current and future state of system and application management solutions.
•       Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
•       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Project

•       Travel: 30 - 35% average of 3 year period is typical (Southeast).
