Jeff Meyer
Co-Founder and Managing Officer
As a co-founder and officer of InfraScience, Jeff Meyer focuses on charting the company's direction, developing service offerings, leading relationship building and marketing efforts. Jeff has 25 years experience in evaluating and deploying IT infrastructure architectures and is an expert in network design and strategic infrastructure planning. He has consulted on information security, infrastructure readiness, and technology management best practices. His industry expertise includes insurance, real estate, financial services, professional services, telecom, manufacturing, public sector, and retail and hospitality. He concentrates on helping organizations leverage investments in technology to reduce costs, improve reliability, increase scalability and align with critical business initiatives.
Prior to founding InfraScience in 2003, Jeff was a Practice Principal for Hewett-Packard's (HP) Infrastructure Consulting and Integration Group where he led a team of 45 professionals delivering services to Fortune 500 clients in the Southeastern United States. He joined HP as a result of the acquisition of Extreme Logic, an award winning regional Microsoft Partner based in Georgia, where he founded and managed the Infrastructure Services practice. During his tenure at Extreme Logic, the firm was recognized as the Southeastern Partner of the Year in 2000 and the North American Partner of the Year in 2001. Other notable positions held by Jeff include Infrastructure Technology Engineering Practice Leader for Whittman-Hart in Chicago and Atlanta where his team captured the Novell Consulting Partner of the Year award in 1999; and Managing Principal for Crescendo Technologies where he led the Information Technology Infrastructure group.
Jeff actively participates in the YMCA Adventure Guides program with his two daughters and enjoys weekend tournaments watching his son on the Atlanta Junior Thrashers travel hockey team. His wife, Stephanie, and their three children reside in Alpharetta, GA.

Phil Bartholomew
Co-Founder and Managing Officer
Phil Bartholomew, Founder and Officer for InfraScience, serves as financial controller and has overall responsibility for the internal systems infrastructure. With 10+ years of consulting and system integration experience and 12 years of experience in Information Systems, Phil's real world experience, understanding of technology trends, and focus on bringing value to his clients allows him to provide strategic IT advisory and planning services for companies of all sizes.
He began his career in Information Systems for a government contractor firm providing services to the U.S. Navy and later built his consulting career with KPMG Consulting with a focus on Microsoft server and desktop solutions. Following KPMG, Phil became the leader of the Microsoft Systems Infrastructure practice for esavio, a company founded in 1998 to focus on Information Systems Consulting and Managed Services. Phil had firsthand experience with Managed Services before it matured into the industry that it is today. His leadership, responsibility for the delivery of quality services to clients and the assurance of client satisfaction propelled him to pursue a pure consulting organization, InfraScience.
Phil holds multiple industry certifications and first obtained his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification in 1996. He has continued to develop his technical skill set with a focus on Microsoft systems infrastructure solutions. And, he specializes in identity management solutions including directory services, identity integration, federation, and rights management. He attended Marshall University from 1990 to 1992 in his home town of Huntington, WV, studying a pre-engineering curriculum. He later obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the West Virginia Institute of Technology in 1994.
Phil is a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodstock, proud contributor and supporter of Marshall University and the West Virginia Institute of Technology. He and his wife, Kim, reside in Roswell, GA.

Mark Pierce
Co-Founder and Managing Officer
Mark Pierce, co-founder and managing officer of InfraScience, has more than 20 years experience in the IT industry. As member of the executive team, Mark's primary responsibility is leading the development of new solution offerings for InfraScience. Mark has experience in building and implementing highly dynamic initiatives by leading companies through periods of consolidation, restructuring, mergers, divestures and high growth initiatives. His expertise spreads across technologies, information services and consulting in the majority of the verticals in the marketplace today. His other responsibilities include the alignment of industry partners to provide complete solutions for InfraScience's clients.
Before joining InfraScience, Mark was a senior project manager for Hewlett Packard. His background offers him expertise in managing and implementing solutions with companies transitioning from legacy solutions to Microsoft solutions. He was a leader in the growth of the Extreme Logic infrastructure practice prior to its acquisition by Hewlett Packard in 2003. Prior to Extreme Logic, he worked at Whittman-Hart as a Sr. Architect for Microsoft solutions and at XcelleNet as a senior consultant for the implementation of RemoteWare environments for Fortune 500 companies.
Mark published a book for Osborne McGraw-Hill in 1998 called "Osborne's NetWare 5 Administration Answers!" This book was highly successful and was translated to Spanish and sold worldwide. He has been published in several publications in the discussions around transitions to Microsoft solutions.
In the early 1990's, Mark was involved with the in a not for profit professional association called Network Professional Association (NPA) and resided as board member and elected chairperson in 1993. This organization had over 8,000 members worldwide with a supporting staff of over 15 individuals and a 1.5 million dollar budget. During that time he worked with several executives from Microsoft, Novell, HP and Dell.
Mark has a wife, Billie, and three children. He enjoys scouting and baseball with his sons and reside in Buford, Georgia. He is a MCSE, CNE and PMP in the IT industry.
