IT consulting has overused the term assessment to mean a glorified sales call.  However, InfraScience uses the term to mean a comprehensive look at a specific issue with thorough analysis and recommendations to remediate the environment.  Regardless of the business problem, we will use a repeatable process to evaluate the situation and provide multiple solutions to address the issue.  Our process includes three phases.

 1.  Assess and Requirements Phase - In this phase, we will meet with key resources to discuss the identified issue and define the overall business requirements.  With a thorough understanding of the business goals and stated objectives, we can review the existing solutions.  This phase provides insight into the business costs and pains to determine the overall impact.

2.  Analysis Phase - With the business requirements clearly identified, we can evaluate the current technology and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.  Usually there are simple solutions that would offer the organization better performance and reliability.  This phase also includes a cost benefit analysis with multiple choices to meet the need.

3.  Recommendations Phase - The InfraScience consultant will prioritize the recommended solutions to help you make the best choice.  Ranging from low cost with high impact to high cost with strategic forethought, we will discuss what makes the most sense for your business at that point.
